The MCC Outreach Department coordinates with medical, dental and behavioral staff at MCC in simplifying access to State and Federal programs.

What State and Federal programs do MCC Outreach Department help with?

We assist with Medi-Cal and CalFresh applications, and screen patients for income-based sliding scale discounts which can reduce patient out-of-pocket expenses at the facility if they are uninsured. The Outreach department also assists with permanent federal disability applications for SSDI (Social Security Disability Insurance) or SSI (Supplemental Security Income). Once a year, we assist with Medicare Part D screenings during the annual enrollment for medication benefits associated with Medicare.
