Mendocino Coast Clinics |

Why A Payment Policy?
Although Mendocino Coast Clinics is neither a County Clinic nor a free clinic,
it does provide primary care services to patients without regard to their
ability to pay the entire cost of the services they receive.
Patients who do not have private insurance or do not qualify for public
insurance like Medi-Cal can apply for reduced fees based on their income.
Most
of the patients of Mendocino Coast Clinics participate in their health care by
paying for a portion of the services they receive.
Others, however, sadly do not make their minimum payment at the time of service
nor do they pay their bills.
As a result, the Clinic has less income to use for services to those who truly cannot afford to pay their full bill.
The
payment policy helps ensure Mendocino Coast Clinics’ ability to provide quality
health care to all of its patients.
Patients who pay their fair share of their health care costs enable the Clinic to provide services to all patients in need of health care.
