Options for Donating
Mendocino Coast Clinics has a variety of ways you may contribute to our mission, building a healthy community by providing quality, patient-centered health care to all coastal residents.
Your contribution is an investment in building a healthy community for all of us, which is critical as fewer people have private insurance, state and county budget cuts have curtailed health care funding and we transition to a service and tourism economy.
MCC strives to improve and enhance services and expand the number of people we serve, which strains our financial resources. Our addition of the pediatric practice, teen clinic and building expansion programs are recent examples.
Most of all, we touch the lives of people with critical health care needs. A recent example is a woman who was diagnosed with cancer which would have been fatal had it gone undetected even for a short period of time. Her top notch specialists in San Francisco were shocked that a rural community health clinic was so efficient and said she would have died if it had gone even a short amount of time given her other health issues.
A small donation can make a big difference in someone’s health care. In addition to sliding scale care, donations can help purchase medications, diabetic test strips, adult diapers, catheter supplies and critical lab tests.
MCC works hard to make it easy to donate in a variety of convenient ways.
